Join your Tribe for Vetrnætr, Winter Nights, or Álfablót, the Sacrifice to the Álfar (Elves), and Dísablót, the sacrifice to the Dísir (Female Spirits)! This is our celebration hailing winters arrival, and the beginning of a new year, as for us our new years begin at Vetrnætr. In tradition this was a 3 night holiday, and we encourage you to celebrate the other 2 nights after this gathering, especially in doing blót at home in private, as Álfablót is a blót that is to be done privately amongst your close family. During our gathering for Vetrnætr, we will NOT be performing Álfablót, we will however be performing Dísablót. We very heavily encourage our members to take it upon themselves to do Álfablót for themselves at their own homes the night after we gather for the first night of Vetrnætr! As always, this is a potluck event, so bring snacks, a dish, drinks, ale or mead! Make sure you bring something for Blót (sacrifice)/Offerings for the Dísir!

This event will be Saturday September 24th, at 6PM, taking place at Ulfheim. Ritual will begin at 7PM, feasting will come after ritual, and from there we celebrate!
